I've been reading as much as I can about fall patterns and I'm on information overload. I know Springhill Duckman started a thread about it quite awhile back but didn't get much of a response.

My fall patterns are the same as my spring patterns (not very good). Even to the point of a bobber and jig up shallow like spawning fish. Of course, like spring, it changes daily/hourly. Keep moving till you find them ,,,maybe your spawning areas might be best place to start. Get ready to change!! <*)}}}><

Yeah CC, that shallow pattern can be HAWG city or not. I will just go creepy crawling the mid-depth breaks and just snatch up some eaters.

Don't give up on dipping trees just yet. Try and find stuff close to drop offs any thing that goes for 6-8 fow to 12-15fow is a good place to start. But like Chat said get ready to move around a lot. Choke points are another area I would look at like on Hillsdale the bridge coming out of little bull arm as the fish move from the up arm to the main lake to winter they all pass through there.

Tried shallow last night at OSFL, they aren't there yet. Of course that whole lake is shallow!!! We caught 6 crappie, 2 were keepers. I think Wiggy pulled all the crappie out of that lake!!
