Very cool...never ice fished before.
Newbie Tim and I hit Gln Elder about 6:30am and were on the ice and fishing before daylight! Tim's first time ice fishing and e landed this nice crappie!!
We used wax worms and minnows with equal success and finished with 7 nice 13" crappie!!
Newbie Gabe showed up about 11:00 and we went and ate a bite at the DQ before fishing another frozen pond in the area where Tim caught a couple of big gills, Gabe managed a couple of largemouth bass and I caught a couple of big gills and a couple of LMB's!!!
It was a great day introducing 2 of my co-workers to the sport that I love!!!

Joe, were you guys out on the west end of the lake, or were you in one of the coves? We drove by the lake Friday afternoon and looked like some guys were ice fishing in Osage Cove.
