Default Finally got out of Wichita

Finally got a chance to get out of Wichita and do some fishing with a couple buddies of mine, went out to Harvey County east and did pretty good mixed bag of whites and crappie was pretty fun. Just very gingerly dipping a jig around the rocks and deadsticking it. Action only lasted an hour or two but was pretty fun. Caught a couple largemouth early on too, let me tell you, an 18 inch bass on an ultralight is one darned fun catch especially around all the rocks and stumps! Hope you all had your luck this week/end!

    WTG. Good report.
Haven't been up that way in a while. Usually I throw my small boat in the back of my truck in the winter and hit Harvey after work when I'm needing a fishing fix.

Had never been there before set up on one of the piers and they were just everywhere surfacing but wouldn't bite anything thrown, minnows or jigs, but just dipping the rocks with little 1/32 jigs they would just slam them, hope it continues for a bit and I get a chance to get out there next week
