    Default Bone Creek 9/5 & 6/2012

Fished Bone Creek last week for a couple of days. Finally found them in 20' chasing bait balls. I didn't take long to limit after that. Just slow trolled with 1/16 oz. orange/char. jigs. Any color worked but orange was best.

Threw in a few short bass and a 4.5 lb. cat. Got blown off the water for a few hours Thursday but they hadn't moved when I made it back. The largest was 13.5" and 1.5 lb. but there were a lot of 10" +. The storm came back Friday and knocked out power to Fort Scott and Frontenac. It messed up a trip to my favorite fried chicken joint. Bummer!

Oh yeah, me too! Best blackie fishing I've had is at Webster, but my biggest was 18.5" from............................... Glen. I'm kinda fond of orange myself heh Jimbo.
