    Default Hillsdale 5-11


    Fished Hillsdale from 9 to 3. Messed around in the shallows and found 6 keepers and a bunch of shorts. Finally found them in 25" in the timber. Jig and minnow worked best near the bottom. Finished out a limit in about an hour with about 2/3 keepers. Most of the females were spawned out or the eggs were brown. One big female looked like it could still spawn. Had one almost 14" and another near 13". Fun day. Had a group of five out Wednesday and only managed 12. banghead

    Nice mess of fish. Fished the deep timber last nite and 4 keepers but none like that.
