Mid 40s last Saturday.
I'm sure some of you slab seekers are eye chasers too. I am usually too late getting my pontoon back in Clinton Lake and missing the night time fishing for eyes.
What water temp trigger the eyes to move to the rocky banks at dusk?
Somewhere I heard or read 50 degrees was the magic number.
I'm going to put my pontoon back in the water this Saturday.
Does anyone know the water temp on Clinton?
Thanks

I asked some guys in a boat on wednesday when I was at the docks and they said it was 49.8 deg. in the marina cove....I've always heard 53deg. was the magic #...I'm sure it varies from lake to lake and some say the photo period is the indicator and not so much the temp.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
51 degrees yesterday. Walleyes are on the dam now. Locals are catching them for the last five nights.
I'm going to give it a try tonight. I'll be at the marina around 3-4 so if anyone wants to join me call me 816-853-0476.
Anybody been going for walleye.. Think i am going to try Marion tonight.
Been hitting Kanop, was pretty good a few weeks ago, has slowed quite a bit since then. I'm thinking next week, mid week, you know full moon and all!!
