    Default Lowrance Point 1 Antenna

I want to install a Point 1 antenna as close as possible to the transducer. This puts the antenna within the 3 foot radius of the motor which you are not supposed to do. Just wondering if anyone has it installed within 3 foot of the motor and if it causes any problems.

Thanks for the reply. I want to put the antenna as close as possible above the transducer. Should make finding my brush piles easier in shallower water and have a smoother map and boat icon pointing the right direction. What do you charge for guiding for crappie. Would like to get some pointers on fishing and also the Lowrance touch down and structurescan.
