We went back to the same break that Shane and I fished last Saturday and the wipers were still there. The four of us put 145 in the boat. We had somewhere around a dozen that went between 20" and 22". We fished from 11:00 am to about 5:00 pm. The fish were on a break in 33 fow. We used shad 2 cranks up from the bottom.

I don't know about trolling, I used spot lock on the I-pilot to hold us in place. Yes, they were hitting dead shad just as good as live shad.

Yes sir Chatt, I think I might know a break or two where those big wipers like to hang out...

(Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.) Is this going to be a problem?? <*)}}}><

Maybe, but the forecast can change. Just find a protected cove/area.

Yes unfortunately... As much as I have been looking forward to this trip, I don't think it would be worth our time fighting the wind. I truly appreciate the offer Chatt and hopefully I will get to fish with you sometime soon... It looks as if I will be heading back to Colorado early.
