I am interested in getting into tying jigs. I need some help on materials I need. I want to tie marabou jigs for crappie. What types of materials do I need and where do you get your materials from? What are the must haves and maybe do not need items. I know a vice and a bobbin but what kind of marabou, chenille, and flash, and what other items?

Try Janns Netcraft, Barlows and Crazy Angler those places will have what you need as far as tools marabou,etc

You need a tester! (Lol) for everyone you tie ! You got to make another one like it and I’ll test it for ya! Skip gave me some real good advise ! You welcome to use my vise and stuff ( nothing fancy) if u want to give it a try before you buy! It gets addictive in a hurry!
