Thanks for the birthday wishes Shoer! Take care out there in VA. I think Gunner is ready to throw me overboard for some crappie lures! LOL.

Heading to the farm pond to see if any crappie's are hungry. I am, for crappie.

Let's see Berdman. Cherokee, that's 148 miles from me. Well, guess I won't ask to accompany you to that farm pond today. After the Bear's game, I'm headed out to Big Creek to see if I can snag a few slabs out of the brush piles. Let us know how you do Berdman.

Not many from NW Iowa on here.

Hit the pond and 5 bass (one 5lb), 1 crappie (11"), and some sunfish in between. Can't wait for the farmer to get his corn out of the feild, so I can take the jon boat. After that tried the river for some walleye, nothing happening. Got to enjoy this 60 deg. weather in October here. It was a good day.

nice bass! I headed out to Big Creek after the Bear's miserable showing. Was out there long enough to collect 7 crappie. A lot different than Friday when I got 18 in almost the same amount of time.

There aren't too many people on the Iowa forum from anywhere. The Missouri forum is really active. I've been down to their "spring camp" on Truman a couple of times, so I chat with them once in a while. Good people!

Happy B day. There arn't many on the Iowa fourm and alot of us don't post much for what ever reasons. Gunner is right the Missouri is a good fourm and they do have some great lakes and members. I am thinking about trying to make it to there spring camp at Truman, thats a great camp ground and it's a lake I know at the right time you can clean house on.
