    Default License increase for 2022.

License costs increasing in 2022. Personally,,,I think it’s alittle bad timing when you are experiencing increases costs in living due to inflation. But,,,it is what it is. Glad I have had my lifetime hunting and fishing license for over 30 yrs when they were available to purchase. DNR announces increased fees for hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses | WBIW Hunting licenses will also go up.

Hmm, I'd be complaining about the increases if I lived there but my state licenses already cost $55 for all around fishing and all around hunting is $117, probably go up $5 to $10 this next renewal.

The best part is they keep closing the rivers here because of pathetic management so only get to use the license for 8 months.

We haven’t had an increase according to the press release since the 80’s and it’s not a lot. But the timing is my issue as well as the benefits recieved from it. Some of the fish attractors being built were from some of the materials donated even tho DNR buys them and asks for volunteer help from fishermen and clubs. As far as enforcement, it leaves a question as to what is enforcement as I never see any. Here in my county we lost one of the best Officers enforcing deer hunting and fishing and the officer replacing him,,,I never once saw during deer season neither did any of the locals ever saw our officer in charge of this county especially after a couple of calls on deer poaching that never got answered. Our DNR officers are used more so in drug enforce and domestic gun violence issues in my opinion here than Conservation Wildlife issues. The name Conservation Officer seems to have lost its meaning. Blame that on politics overriding the management of DNR and keeping them from fulfilling their original concept as our DNR does try and accomplish their goals to the best of their abilities and I will always try and back them.

I've been asked to show my fishing license 3 times in the past 2 years. Each time the officer was very courteous and took the time to chat and tell what he knew about the fishing.
They have so much territory to cover, I appreciate their work but am sadly disappointed in how the state spends all recreation related income.
I too have my lifetime fishing license but if not I would still buy it, a small price to pay.

If they would put the increase into the fishery and the launch facilities. I can see very few people having a problem with the increase. Sadly that is almost never the case.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

I wonder if the amish even have to have a license to hunt or fish. dono ! I don't mind the increase in the fees if they would use it the right way but we all know that will not happen.
