Default Any action at Mississinewa lately ?

Went on a scouting run yesterday, lake level at or around summer pool, hogsback and oak tree are a mess, water temp mid to low 50's. Any word on the white bass run or lack there of ? Going to try again this weekend but doesn't look good. May be a from the boat year, as the river looks a mess. -Thanks

Ya, I plan to get out this weekend also, in between youth turkey hunt with my daughter. Was really hoping up river would clear up and come down, but not for awhile. May hit the 1812 area and see what's going on up there, likely high, muddy, and fast. Will report back on Monday.

Well 1812 was a bust. Water was cold, muddy and some what high. Caught a drum and snagged a sucker for the day. Hope they get that lake down soon. This week's temps aren't great but better than it has been.

It doesn't seem like they are letting much out. The Wabash is low, so not sure why they're holding back. Let's just hope things turn around soon. I will post updates as I go. A good warm snap may get the big ones moving. I had 49* this morning , so water temp is getting there.

Went back to 1812/ troyers bridge area this morning, water temp 52* to 53* water stained, but not as muddy. Caught a few dinks , a white bass, and a drum. I don't think the fish have ran that far up river yet. Maybe next week. Looks like they are holding dam at or near summer pool. Anyone else get out this week ? -thanks

Went up river today near hogsback and kept a 2 man limit between the 3 of us. Caught a ton of fish but had to do some sorting. Tube jigs under a float. Caught a few white bass as well.
