Heading to Patoka lake at the end of August early Septemberand want to stay for 3 days.
Any good recommendations on places to stay and best place to buy bait.

I always stay at Lanes in french lick. Its a old motel, but clean, has electrical hookups, and they cater to fishermen. Good pizza across the street, dairy queen right next door, gas stations handy, and can always walk down to the casino.
Lanes is like 60-70 a night.
