    Default Quility, not Quantity

As the seaseon progresses I find myself getting a bit picky as to the Crappie I bring home. I could have filled the boat with 9 inchers but opped to take Mr. and Mrs. BLACK home today. With their friend BULL Bluegill. It'll make a real nice meal. The two crappies were caught in about 8' fow on the fall of my ELIMINATOR 1/16 oz. Purple jig. The Bull Bluegill on a 1/16 oz. ELIMINATOR Char/Black jig. Wow what nice fish and even better when caught on your own jigs.

Nice fish. I do exactly as you do even though there is no minimum size on crappie I don't keep fish under 10". I kept a few 9" early in this spring when my freezer was empty. I feel a 9" today has the potential to be a 11" next year. They can't get to 11" if they are cleaned at 9 for sure. By the way that looks like a beautiful pit or lake.
