The wife and I fished Rend 5/6 & 5/7...so were the Crappie Masters.
The crappie are not in the bushes as of Saturday afternoon. It appeared that many of the crappie masters were on the North ends of the lake chasing down individual fish with a single pole in open water with live scope. They all did very well fishing in 8'-12' with a nearly 2 pound average winning the tournament, it took 24+ pounds to win.
Water temp was 64 on Friday and we found 68 degrees in the resort cove on Saturday afternoon.
If you have the equipment (Livescope), it appears there are LOTS of quality fish to be caught roaming the main lake.
We went down there to fish the bushes, my wife enjoys that more than any other method, and they simply are not in there yet. If they don't move in them in the next few days of hot weather, I don't know if they will at all.
Thanks Hanr3 thanked you for this post
