Sunday it was murky and 44 to 48 degrees. I just went out in the afternoon for a while to run gas out of my boat. I stopped and fished a few times for a little while. I forgot my long pole and did not vertical fish much. In the end I only managed to catch 10 or 12 and I caught them all shallow over grass on a tube jig under a cork. I only fished for a short while though I was interested in running some gas out. Everytime I been fishing I had only been burning a gallon or two in a 24 gallon tank and I wanted to finally get some fresh gas in her.
Just fish hard don't get discouraged and don't get stuck on any one method or place. You have to remember how much fishing pressure these lakes have..sometimes just have to find a spot not gettin' hit much. Also fish are moving on somedays...maybe not somewhere in the morning but are in afternoon....just figure somewhere are some hungary fish and I have to find them. Some of the fish I caught where in the murkiest water. Probaby clear up some no hard rain forecast for a while I don't think.
If you don't catch anything don't let it be for lack of trying ,figure em out. And throw back all the white ones with black markings those are mine.
