Gizmo (not looking for exact spots) but what part of Illinois River you fishing? I'm usually fishing from Chillicothe north to Starved Rock. Been struggling to find relatively clear deep water this season. River has been so low. ...has been better from Lacon to Hennepin. Thanks

hello catchncrisco
the Heart of Illinios crappie club held a tournament out of Pekin a few weeks ago. believe they caught some nice fish.
Was fishing in Morris. And starved rock. A lone tree limb by barge tie off held many fish in Morris starved rock was a steep drop close to shore. Another spot in Morris had lots of trees but no fish. Ski bosts may have messed that spot up. I would try anything with wood and steep drops. Waster was very dirty all around. Maybe things will pick up after this recent rain
BobB, emptycooler LIKED above postcatchncrisco thanked you for this post
Should be good now that all this rain has filled the river back up. Access to chutes and ditches Once the level stabilizes the fat boys will be on the feed bag
