Thread: Mississippi trip 2017: picture heavy

Had some great catches while I was down there and was blessed with some pretty good weather and the rain was nice to us for the most part. Fished Sardis, Enid, and Grenada during my time there and all 3 had their shining moments. I was able to go on several wading trips after guiding some days and even had some wade guide trips and yielded some nice limits. Nothing like catching a slab literally 6" deep on a jig pole. I also had a couple days that I got to fish and came home with two firsts... my first and second crappie of my life over 3lbs. The first one was 17.25" long and weighed 3.35 and the second was 17. 1/8" and was half way spawned out and weighed 3.12. Both incredible fish and very blessed to hook them and get them in. Most couldn't believe the size of the fish there in north Mississippi and I was happy to provide them memories they can hold onto for quite a while.
