    Post HOI Crappie Club Clinton Lake 2 day tournament


    Location: Clinton Lake
    Ramp: Mascoutin (Campground)
    Dates: September 29 & 30. Two day tournament
    Times: 7am - 12:30 pm boht days.

    $30 per team for both days.
    $10 big fish for both days.
    Cash only.


    Pot Luck fish fry Sunday after the tournament at IP Point.
    Cash payout to the top 3 teams.
    Prizes for top competitors this season.

    I'll be camping at Clinton lake for the weekend. Stop on by and say hey, talk fishing or whatever.

    This is going to be a great tournament. The fish are biting and the competitors have been honing their skills all summer long.

    I could use another summer of skill honing. And probably a fall and a spring.
    Take a kid fishing today: Hopefully they will grow up and take a kid fishing someday.

    Best way to hone those skills is to put them to the test. The tournaments are mostly for fun, however the couple of bucks makes them interesting. Puts a little pressure on ya, and simulates a bigger tournament. I figure its best to lose a couple bucks in a local tournament then it is to spend hundreds traveling and losing in a big tournament.

    How many fish are you weighing in each day? 7 per boat?

    Yes 7 fish weigh in per day. The big fish $10 pot is biggest fish for both days, not biggest on each day.

    From what luke caught today, looks like between 15-16 lbs will win it
