I would like to attend an ILL camp - live in MO but mainly fish Rend and Crab in IL. I have several outdoor fish fryers, etc and will be glad to help however I can.
    thanks!

Depending on the weekend I would attend.

    I'd prefer Shelbyville over Kincaid.

Fall is a good time too.

Might I recommend the group site for the campers? It can be tough to reserve enough sites next to each other, and big enough for the group for evening activities, cooking, socializing, etc... The group site are seperate from teh main campgrounds. On the plus side, our noise won't disturb the other campers, especially if we are up past 10:00pm socializing. Plus it should be considerable less expensive per night as a group, something like $2 per head per night, compared to the regualr site fee.

Count me in. I look forward to meeting all of my CDC brethren. It doesn't matter either lake or date. If I know in advance I will put it on my calendar.

Hard to beat Rend in the spring when crappie are in the brush... As long as its before first couple weeks of June we'll be there.

The Poll is up as requested. I talked to a number of people running other State Camps and they suggested a minimum of 2 Weeks for the post. Might seem like forever to those who already have a choice but for those on the fence it gives them some time. Also, Im digging into the Lakes on the list for Bass/Golf... events scheduled this spring. We need to work around the other events to make it more available for our group. Also, we have Easter/ Mothers Day and Memorial Day weekends in the Spring. 2 other States also have a camp that some of our guys attend. So dates may be very limited and the only weekend without conflict at this point is June 1,2,3. So I would like some feedback on going that late. Weather should be more stable for campers. We can pick any date we want so Im just passing along information.
The fish you release may be a kids fish of a lifetime!

Shelbyville sounds good to me IF I can get off work for it. I'm kinda partial to the Bo Woods campground. Spring or fall sounds fine but I really like the fall fishing. Usually less pleasure boaters.
Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.
