    Default shelbyville 11-9-11

Shew! Windy one out there! Put in at whitley creek a little after 10, tried to make it down to coal shaft area but it wasnt worth the waves out there. Turned around fished one spot along whitley bank and very first fish on the pile was a 23" walleye! Sweet! Pulled a couple more dinks and loaded up. Trailered down to coal shaft and fished down there and was off the water at 3 with our triple limit. We fished 8-13 foot of water most of the day and while charteuse with red flakes did ok, orange/charteuse was the ticket today. Water was around 51-53 degrees. We used 8th oz heads for the most part simply because you couldnt feel the jig otherwise with the cold and wind. We had a great time out there despite the wind, rain, sun, and clouds!

Tyler - Glad to see you put John on some fish. I assume that is John even though it looks like he is trying to hide his face. Usually he does that after having a bad day on the lake.
