    Thanks redge. Didn’t expect to see a model 7 in Cabela’s gun library but saw it and was priced decent so it had to join the collection, picked up a colt 1911 at larrys on the way home (the wife said stop by so I didn’t argue) lol

    I started my son with a Model 7 in 7mm-08 but got it stolen later. I am going to get my grandson one next year in the same caliber with a suppressor.

    Those model 7's are pretty sweet. I picked up one for my daughter in .260 Rem. I'd like to swap it for a 7-08. Nothing against the 260 as it's a fine cartridge, I just have another 7-08
