I’ve never fished Eufaula but look in the places you usually find the staging for the spawn. It’s just about that time here.
I will be visiting near Walter F George ( Eufaula) lake for first time ever, in a few days. Most likely dates are March 1 & 2 (Mon. Tues.)
Not asking for any specific spots, just some general advice on what to expect crappie fishing, that time frame. Any info that might be useful for an out of state member to know.
Will be staying with friends on Georgia side, south part. Boat in tow, and willing to burn some fuel if needed.
Would be glad to return the favor sometime in future, if any of you visit Southern Illinois or Kentucky Lake .
Thank You for the help!

Buddies fish Eufaula every year about that time. They only bass fish but another Crappie fishing buddy went with them last year.
He told me everyone was pulling out in the channel and weren’t doing so good.
He started checking docks with Livescope and Bingo.
He caught a limit every day and over 400 for the week.

Tradbow LIKED above post
Tony Adams is the guy there and post enough info on his Facebook page to help you. There also is a Eufaula fishing page on Facebook and I’ve seen go info on there as well.

Barbour Creek, Cheneyhattchee creek and Cowikee Creek...all 3 have ramps in them. Barbour launch go under the bridge and start trolling, follow the creek and you will find fish, same with Chenyhatchee. Cowikee when you cross under the 431 bridge the creek dogleg left sharply to the left bank, the back to the right, then follow the channel markers all the way to the back, fish around the islands back there. BE CAREFUL...THIS CREEK IS FULL OF TIMBER AND HUGE TREES BROKE OFF IN PLACES ,AS WELL AS SEVERAL SHALLOW (less than 2ft) FLATS....Also troll the channel fish should be hanging on the ledges.
Any questions let me know.

Thanks for everyone’s responses. Our trip is over. Tried some of the suggestions that were made.
Caught a few nice ones, but overall the bite was pretty slow for us. Very nice lake. Hope to try it again in the future. Thanks to all.
