Kicking Back, Vacation Ideas?

Gonna take a week or two off work, after the summer rush is over, maybe late August.
Northern Georgia, looking for some speck fishing, cabin on a lake maybe. Boat rental would be a plus. Just me and the wife.
Anyone have some suggestions?

I would look into renting a house a Lake Oconee. Great fishing and it is a beautiful lake. You can look at the incredible houses while you are fishing some of them are probably million dollar houses. Have fun. Wes

there is a house that fireman rents with a group from Douglas Ga . it is in a good spot to fish from the dock . if intrested you could pm him on here
