Sounds good Ga I was actually looking at that post earlier. Im definitely ready to get going. I've also reached out to a couple of guides just waiting to hear back on some dates. Ill be heading over to the SC forum to check it out. The views are like fishing lines the more of them out there the better chance of getting a hit.

I'm all for riding down to South GA I think it would be fun. I fished a lot from the banks in Alabama but I am trying to fish here in GA. Get to know my home states water, but the one thing I have learned so far is that there is a lot of water with no fish!

I used to do alot of fishing on Lanier but I've had to sell my boat, and between work and kids my fishing time has taken a drastic hit. Lanier can be a very productive lake once you've put some time into learning it. I wished I could help you out, but like Earl said people are just busy. I had a few people I fished with but it seems I've been kicked out of the circle cause I'm not envolved enough or something. If you want, I could try to hook up with you at some point and at least show you around and give you a few pointers.
To heck with work, lets go fishing.

    Hello TByzzle,

I live in Lithonia and am new to the boards also. My boat is not nearly as nice as your rig, but hey, I picked it up just this summer and its our family's first rig.

I fish with my sons (26, 10, 7) and the challenge is always that we USED to catch more fish from the banks. I have to learn too!

We've fished STone Mountain Lake, Jackson Lake, Charlie Elliott, Black Shoals with the boat and had very mixed results.

looking to get out and learn crappie fishing from the boat!
