    Default Blackshear 10-04-09.

Got to lake about 7:30a.m. and quit fishing about 4:00p.m.Bite was real slow to start with, just catching a few here and there.Bite picked up real good at about 2:30.Kept a total of 40 between three of us.Had 10 real good fish and the rest were decent keepers.Pitching jigs and floating minnows around brushpiles in and around 12 to 14 ft. of water.Surface temps were low to mid 70s.Had a great time.Yall should do well at slabfest next week if we dont get a bunch of rain.Ive got to work but may make the weigh in.Anyway good luck and have a great week.

finally said to heck with work for a couple days and me and the boys hit B'shear like ya'll did.....picked up a few decent ones here and there from Spring Creek down to Cedar....should only get better now that the full moon is here...bite is always slow till a few days after the full moon....did find a HUGE log floating on the lake that gave me the chills....wouldn't want to hit it at any speed.....heres a few pics too (of the fish)

Good looking fish and good looking smiles. It was hard enough getting up to go to work this morning without looking at those slabs. See ya'll this weekend.

Fantastic! Nice Slabs. Spider rigging or pulling or just anchored down on structure? BB

I pulled jigs. No real pattern or color. Biting fish were scattered for us. Turned the depth finder off "fish ID" because I was getting mad seeing a bunch of fish on it and not getting bit!:o
