With all due respect Moderator, why involve political ads into a fishing forum? We are fishermen regardless of political preference. The three sins of business are politics, sex and religion. One does not discuss. NOW, i see this forum as a Republican agenda. WHY? Obama Care? As much as I hate to start a new thread on this topic, Crappie.com opened the door. Why? I read your response to an obvious obscene thread and I'm with that 100%. I hope you/we keep this as an informative tool for fishing only. Why bring n the politics? Being a Democrat and supporting Obama's plan only alienates me from this forum and its owners. Lets keep the political ads out and keep it plain and simple for outdoor enthusiasts!!!! With all due respect 2 gun, this is exactly why we have the "OFF TOPIC" forum. So we can discuss things that are important to us, such as politics, religion, family, and "How To's", etc. The main forum is for fishing and we are trying to keep it that way. We all apologize if this forum offends you in any way, but as long a things are civil and respectful We see no in letting you or anyone else vent. These things need discussing by everyone.

Please know that JimmyS, Papasage and myself TRY real hard not to let things get too far out of hand but we are (well most of us) are adults and the MOD's for this board will treat every as an adlut until they stop acting like one.

At present I hold both parties accountable for the mess we have in this country. I am now in the "Vote out the Incumbent" mood regardless of the party. I think new blood across the board who have the proper perspective of who they are to be accountable to is the best move toward getting politics under control at all levels. If things don't change there will be consequences that we never thought could happen in this county.

PoFisher, Sir, I salute you, Your words are powerful and inspirational. We have quietly stayed out of it for so long over the fear that someone would acuse of us of being “racist” or homofobe or heartless or any other word used to terminate a resonable and logical train of thought. We need to stop using such soft language with these people. Welfare reciepients are where they are because of thier own poor choices. If someone drops out of a public school paid for by the public. Because of grades, drugs, behavior ect , it was thier choice. Gets pregnant cant afford the hospital bill, or rent or lights or food it was thier choices. Why does the 70% of Americans who followed the rules and laws, that did thier homework in school, that worked an sacrificed and did without to pay thier own bills, have to pay for the ones that didnt. Sure I feal bad when I see these people in need. We had the same school, the same teachers, the same oportunities, we just made diffrent choices. My Mother had a saying that her father told her, and she passed it down to me.
