    Default A little kayak action

The bass bite has been slowing down for me so decided to bring the speck rods out as well this morning. After an hour of skunking on the bass decided to do a little long lining.

Was able to get on a good pattern on the north end of the lake where they were hugging bottom in 8-10 feet. Very active feeding, color and style didn’t matter. They hit curly tail, paddle tail, and straight tail. Turned into a multi-rod fire drill several times.

Gonna spend some time now working on spider rigging. Longlining is my favorite, but it will sure wear out my neck on the kayak! All released since I didn’t bring a cooler haha

Good fish. Wish I could get into a Yak for a while. I might like it but hate to pull the trigger on a hunch.
