We all have favorites for different reasons, and some just work better. Black/chartreuse ,blue/chart, pink/chart (electric chicken), blue/white, popsicle (pink/purple/chart), white/chart(acid rain), red/white and the reverse, and of course all of the solid colors. These are colors I use for trolling and I usually use curl tails.

For casting I like a lot of different colors above a silver or pearl belly Bobby Garland Baby Shad (BGBS)always have a place on my line up. Black over chart is also a standard. Solid colors also have a place here, and don't forget solid black and clear with glitter. Some days they just work.

Thanks for your input, seeing what works for fellow crappie fisherman is very important. There are a lot of paint colors out there that catch the eye of the fisherman but not necessarily the fish...

My most used colors longlining are Badblood, Ice Blue/Chartreuse, Junebug/Chartreuse, White/Firetail, Acid Rain. But have about every color and alot get used often. Single poling I use mostly natural colors like Motoroil, Avacado, Smoke Shiner, Sunshine Minnow, Night shiner, Blue Shiner etc.

In cleaner water I like blue/white combo and in stained I like any color with chartreuse. Works for me
