Good job. Congrats on the trip and spending time with family. Cool pics.
The weather was a little dicey today, but any time spent with my son on the water is always special to me. As H-slabs & Skeet posted the #'s came down a little, we finished with 14 specks that made my son's friend Cody's grandpa very happy to clean the mess. We did manage some good slabs on acid rain & black paddle tail slider, in a few uncharted territories, sure to be revisited next outing. Pic of 14 3/4", my son Aaron with 13"& 14" & Cody proudly with the greeny that almost could pass for a spotted bass, my son lost 1 as big with line crossing the prop....sure is crazy the amount of bass being caught this year....Well it's GOOO Nolesssss time!

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"Speck Detector LIKED above post
I guess I should explain "Crappie Down".....It really could mean what ever sounds good to one, but for me it goes back to where it all started fishing with minnow & cork, kinda a tribute if you will when the brother-in-law lived in northern Wisconsin, actually Lake Alice in Tomahawk, Wi. He introduced me to crappie fishing & we would get 6 dozen minnys for $1 & my son was probably 5-6 yrs old when 1 evening we were explaining to him how to watch the bobbers as they made there slow decent before setting the hook. We would point out color differences & such when all the sudden 1 went under & he shout "Crappie Down", it's stuck with me ever since, kinda corky but there it is.

Always a good time when spent with family
