Default There on the move at Harney

Tried my luck this morning only to find the fish are starting to leave the lake & go to there spawning grounds, caught about 30, but many were small & fished til' 1:30 to do so, before giving up to the rain. Kept 14 hostage with (2) 13"= big fish, all given a pass today. Saw Slow-ride & brother back at the ramp & looked like they did OK, just mentioned, as par for this time of year, the big'ns have been picked over & or spawning. The most excitement for the morning was a 20 minute battle with a 4ft Gar, sure was fun that some how was able to not cross any other lines, after he had pulled drag over 10 times, he's got my road-runner & that's fine by me. A few pics sunrise, gar, & hostage tank....

Glad to see you caught a few nice ones. We struggled at Harney this year, only a few shad in the Econ high water killed our fishing. Did manage to put 12 fish over two pounds in the boat the first week then things went down hill and we finished up today catching bass in the wind. Will try to put together some pics this week.........16 straight days of fishing I need to get back to work and rest.............

My wife doesn't understand 16 days in a row, but I do. Glad you got to enjoy the time with your buds doing what you love to do.
