    Default Wiring 24 volt trolling motor?


    Looking at stepping up to 24 volts. What is the best way to wire it up. ? What size wire? It will be the terrova 80 lb

    Any wire that will run 40amps, plus add a fuse box for 40 amps.

    Batteries for 24 volt system must be wired in series. Connect the red wire to the positive of the first battery and the black wire to the negative post of the second battery. Then connect a jumper wire between the other two battery post.
    This will give you 24 volts to the trolling motor.
