    Default Lowrance Elite-7 HDI 'issues'-HELP!

I have a Lowrance 7 HDI @ the helm and among my issues with it is the GPS does not follow me. Like last trip I went to lake A and now when I go next to lake B 50 miles away. When I get to lake B and turn on my unit it's still gonna show me 50 miles away at lake A. Same issue on the lake...to follow myself on the lake I must manually move the cursor to keep up with my actual position. What do I need to do to make it track my current position????

I think you need to hit the clear cursor button, if the cursor is on the screen the GPS won't move.

I have the same unit, I think you hit menu and at the top it will say clear cursor or back to screen. I had the same problem, this unit is kinda hard to navigate around because it don't have an exit button like most units

I messed with it and the first tab or selection that came up was 'return to vessel'. I hit it and the cursor is gone so hopefully that'll do it. I looked thru everything and get say a clear cursor selection. Thank you both for your help though-its greatly appreciated! Tight Lines
