    Believe it or not that's exactly where I was. Brought home 5 nice ones, lost 3 nice ones, 2 throw backs and broke a brand new Denalli tip. Heck of a day and it got hot in a hurry. I thought about that slug being a trip hazard and that strap under foot. You can get a low profile bracket that looks like a screen door handle, mount it and run strap under it. Then at least you could remove strap. Mine luckily is up out of the way. And believe it or not that support that close to motor stops almost 90% of the bounce I had in that long shaft and don't have to worry about it deploying on its own.

    Its a piece of aluminum......i cut a groove in it with a hole saw same size as pipe for pipe to sit in.

    Yes guys . Appreciate the help!!! I have some aluminum. I may fab a base bracket so strap can be stored when not in use. Thanks a bunch !!!
