    Default screen size

Thinking about adding a depth finder to the trolling motor. I already have a Elite 7 chirp on the front of the boat with relay switch and hybred hdi transducers at each end. since I already have GPS in the 7 , i was wondering, since I am not interested in side imaging. would the 5x models be sufficient, I have learned on this forum that the bigger the screen , the better. Since I am not seeking side image would the smaller 5 inch screen be sufficient. About $100.00 difference. Is it worth the cost difference? Thanks everybody.....craooie1133

Speaking from experience I would spend the extra and get the 7 inch. I have a 5 inch on the front of my boat and hate it.

If I could afford a big 12" I would. Try and get the 7".

If you can afford it, definitely go with the 7.
