    Default Ultrex iPilot Link question

If I have my units linked (Helix 10 on the bow and 7 in the console) can I split the screen on the 10 on the bow between the 2d transducer built into the trolling motor and the structure scan transducer in the stern?

    Thanks!

I do it all the time with my two Helix 10's. However, you mentioned having the units linked and you also mentioned iPilot Link, so I am going to assume you have the Ethernet switch to link everything together. You also didn't say if both these units are DI or SI units or if they are different. So assuming they are the same, and if that is the case you can select the 2D transducer on the Trolling motor as your 2D sonar source, and select the HD transducer on the transom as your advanced sonar source on the sonar on your bow and then cycle thru the views to find the one you want, when trolling using i-Pilot Link and following the contour lines, I will typically have a 2D window, an SI window, and a Nav window on the same screen so I can watch bottom right under me, and see structure to either side that I may want to move out or in and fish, and watching the Lakemaster or Smart Strike maps lets me see when the depth lines are coming close together showing rapid depth transitions that might be holding fish.

Good Question, made me think thru and review why I do things certain ways!
