I sure do wish there was a way. I havent figured anything out yet. The da'ducer would be a good fix.........but I went with the ulterra so I wouldnt have to raise and lower anything manually. May as well be raising and lowering a terrova if I was going to have to raise and lower the da'ducer. Much cheaper that way.

I could be wrong but, I think Kosmo and DonG did a deal with air line hose that curls like a pig tail and mounted it where the shaft could slide up and down with cable mounted outside the bracket while keeping it from tangling and getting in prop. Also check YouTube for video on mounting transducer on PDv2 for ideas. Plus check the mounting transducer on Terrova in this section.

Now this is a very good idea!!!!!!! I will definitely test it out! What do you have the zip tie attached to at the lower end of the pivoting part? And does it matter which way the cable is wrapped?

Are you talking about the zip tie on the silver locking shaft on the motor housing if ? If so it just zip tied to the shaft .. The one at the top of the motor housing attached with a stick on zip tie holder I got at Home Depot elect. Dept. .. Not sure the direction matters I did mine counter clock wise as the picture shows .. By the way this is not my idea it was on another site the guy said he had been using this set up for 3 years with no problems
