    Default My new Terrova

Order the Terrova 80# US/2 with the I=pilot, this past Monday and got it today Thursday. Had to go with the 60" take along time to get used that height. got a good deal from Bass Pro 1379 plus 33.00 for the US2 cable for Lowerance.
I've got a 481 Ranger bass boat, has anyone else mounted one of these on a bassboat. If you have could anyone show me some pictures on how you got the base mounted.

I telled you guys one thing my hat goes off too you all to the ones that can afford this type of trolling motor and all the SI units. I would love too have one of SI units but it will definley be next year or two. Anyway any help be appreciated,Thanks to all and have a good day.

One thing to take into consideration when mounting it is to make sure it will not hit your trailer when you are loading or unloading the boat. I made that mistake. The motor was mounted in the ideal spot for the boat but when I loaded/unloaded the boat, the TM would hit the part of the trailer where the winch in mounted at. Didn't take but 1 fishing trip to move it!

I have mine on the nose of a Nitro also. It takes some getting used to, esp around docks. If the trailer is too deep in the water, it could contact the front roller. Just gotta watch it.
MK tells me that an authorized service center can easily shorten the shaft without any impact to the warranty. Just be sure to document everything.

Hey BadBrad....is that a Crown Royal bag over your sonar unit? :D :D

Mine is mounted about like the others in this post with the addition of a minn kota quick release bracket. (39.99) @ Cabelas. This makes the boat cover fit a lot easier plus makes your motor removable as well raising the height off the boat. It can also be locked which in this day and time is a big plus.

yes, a large crown bag. Works pretty good to keep the dirt and dust off. I've got a buddy of mine that likes to pertake of the drink quite a bit. I traded him a bag of crappie fillets for a bunch of the bags. I use them on my spinning reels as well.
