    Default Opaque colors?

Noob needing a little info here. If I wanted to make a plastic bait in an opaque chartreuse or other color, would I just add colorant until it turns opaque or is there a different type of colorant for this? Do some brands turn opaque more readily than others?

I just add a drop of white to my chartreuse when wanting opaque. Doesn't work with all colors though.
