Default Not a crappie jig? Sorry wanted to share

I like many have a FB page and lots of fishing friends who share store bought baits all the time some are really special! The fall is coming and bass fishing in the fall here involves some type of bait fish profile. Under spin really catch fish so I have my own 3" swim bait boot tail! I built a home made under spin . My neighbor came over we fish together, and an artist he is part Indian and make knives bow and arrow all like his ancestors . He took my jig home and made these blades from abalone shell's ! I was very impressed! I thought I'd share with ya'll !

Nice - Blades made this way you'll never have two the same. There's a book by Harold Blaisdell called "The Art of Fishing with Worms and Other Live Bait" It has a chapter on making spinners and he talks about making blades out of shells.
