Beavers will get green brush if they find it. Dry it or sink top lower in the water. But then a sure fire method is to remove Beavers when possiable.
I buried 2 brush piles 2 weeks ago in one of my crappie holes, and went back this weekend to see if there were any fish on them and they were gone. had the gps cord and every thing had a 5gal bucket or creet on each 1 ,one of them was about 2 feet down from the top in 15 ft. of water you could just barely see the top so i,m thinking them rotten beavers chewed them off and carted them off has anybody had this trouble?

It is kind of surprising the beavers would have carted them off from where you placed them. There should be stubs still showing the beaver toothmarks which are pretty distinctive. There is also a possibility that someone else knows of the crappie hole and is not all that pleased to have brush piles dropped into it and you are getting "human assistance".
well I,m about 98% sure is was not someone else i,v only seen a couple other boat in this pit its really hard to get to. besides it would be a miracle to find both of them the only boats that get in are john boats so there is no side scanning going on. both piles were put in 15 ft of water 1 sunk out of sight the other was about 2or 3 ft below the surface. 1 was a green sycamore tree top the other was a willow and ash the water is not very clear so i wouldent see teeth marks
Had beaver to steal willow duck blind brush. It's a possibility they helped themselves to your crappie condo. I'm guessing that you are just giving it a visual and not looking with sonar.

Depending on your GPS and the signal strength both of those days u could easily be off by 15-20 feet. next time out go over the area several times with a depth finder or use litewire jig and fan cast the whole area bet you will be able to snag your brush piles, or maybe somebody snagged their anchor on them and dragged them brush piles away out of their favorite hole!!!!

I have had people relocate a big cedar I put in Greeson one time.
Beavers aint good for nothing. Destructive critters and a duck hunters nightmare.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
I remember seeing a t-shirt a while back...With this on it.....Save a tree eat a beaver....
