seen on TV they were selling the George foreman deep fryer that had a spin cycle after it cooks it shakes off lots of the oil, it looked like something worth checking out, any one own one of these
nothing paper towels cant fix.. id hate to see if it spun to faste and made mashed crappie fillets
Ditto, just one more thing to go wrong-let them drain in a basket or colander-or bake them.
i was wondering the same if it would make are delicious crappie fillets fall apart and after checking the price i think paper towels are my best bet for fighting grease, was just wondering if any one had one, seemed like a good idea

Paper towels or a wire rack is what I use.

How would the machine know when the crappie are done? I meal the filets individually and place them in the oil one at a time to keep the meal from caking up. Some of the filets are thicker and take longer to cook ... I put them in first. I take them out individually with tongs after they float then place on thick layers of paper towels to absorb the grease.
