It was a cold and windy morning as I began my spider rigging
I baited some poles with minnows and others just for jigging
As the sun rose over the trees I trolled a little faster
And a pole began to bend on my trusty ole Driftmaster

At first I thought it was a slab that weighed almost a ton
But as I pulled it in the boat it was really a ten pound drum
My luck didn’t get much better as the day wore on and on
But I did catch some nice ones and took some pictures with my phone

I cleaned the fish when I got home and heated up some grease
I broke open a bag of cornmeal and began to cook a feast
The filets and hushpuppies were done and I shared them with my Mom
And before I went to bed that night I put my pics on Crappie.com

Its October 16th and I only Wish
I didn't have to choose to hunt or Fish

After a hard day at work, with fishing on my Mind
I fell hard to sleep surfing Crappie.com

A night of dreaming, I finally Awake
Decision has been made, I am headed to the Lake

I grew up fishing with a pole in each Hand
But after Feelay's Sardis Post, spider rigging is the Plan

The sun is rising as I move a little Faster
Rigging up my 8 poles for my trusty 'ole Driftmaster

Startled and Confused as I feel a sudden Jerk
As my wife awakes me "Get ur butt to Werk"!!

So as reality sets in, work here I Come
Back to the computer and CRAPPIE.COM!!

On Crappie.com is where I be,
Wishing I was fishing, but that's not to be.

Working hard to live is a special thing,
Folks with no drive, seems the "new" norm, I'm just say in.

When I get to go fishing, you know where I'll be.
Drifting for cats,or those special crappie.

The name of my rod holders,it ain't hard to guess.
Drift master of course, simply the best.

Simple in style and super strong, if I had to,I'd trade my right arm.

That ain't no joke, no fooling in me. Except maybe while fishing around the special tree.

If you see me on the lake,I'll be with my two boys.
Fishing with them, trying to hush all the noise.

We cut up at times and have us blast.
As you all know, those memories with dad, will always last.

The Drift Master is the best rod holder.
It mounts on the back of your boat.
When fishing 8 rods at one time.
The Drift Master is all that she wrote.

    It keeps your rods separated.
It keeps your lines tangle free.
Don’t try other way to do this.
Or you’ll wish you listened to me.

Drift Master can be used for rigging and jigging,
for long lining and trolling too.
The method is not so important.
The choice is all up to you.

When fishing for Crappie they'll tell you.
Don’t go fish without a clue.
Log on to Crappie.com the website.
It’s there to assist and help you.

You can learn many ways to catch them.
They will show you a trick or two.
Whatever you learn will be priceless.
And learning is so simple to do.

Don’t hesitate or sit doing nothing.
Just think of the waters so blue.
    Don’t wait or delay.
    Just go catch them today.
Then you can learn how to clean them too.
