and some doing so so, but everyone is bringing fish home. What is everyone's favorite area? Not talking about the best fishing, but your favorite area to fish. Shoal Bay, Delaware Bay, The Piney, Spadra, The Illinois Bayou? So many good spots, its hard to choose one. Fish to be caught all over the lake right now.

I like the Piney and Flat rock area as I grew up there camping as a kid with the parents and the Grand parents.

Most years just get to fish it one week a year (vacation). Mostly fish Illinois bayou and piney. Maybe one of these years when we retire can venture out and learn a little more of the lake.
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Caught a few at Shoal Bay a couple of days ago. 11 to 15 inches. Not a exceptional day, though. Just glad to be fishin'.

I fished Dardanelle in Ouita area yesterday and got 13 keepers. It was pretty slow. That was 8 hours of fishing. Most fish were on black and pink jig in 6 foot of water.

I think I am going to Shoal Bay tomorrow. I’m hoping to put the wife on a few crappie. I’ve started her bass fishing and she likes it but she never has pulled in a mess of crappie.
