    Any recent fishing reports anyone would be willing to share. Going to try my luck this week and would appreciate any helpful information.

    Hello Stumpy......I was there all weekend long grillin and chillin. We fished Saturday and fought the wind by staying in coves. We kept 9 crappie, 5 bass, and 1 bluegill and gave up the fight around 2 o'clock. Didn't fish at all today because it was cold and windy again this morning.

    The fish we caught were still shallow on the banks. Caught them all casting at banks with slow retrieve. Bobby Garland Cajun Crickets and Kalins Tennessee Shad on 1/16 oz jig heads. Good luck to you.

    Thanks, I appreciate the info. I can understand not trying today. It was not a good day to be on the water. Or anywhere outside for that matter.

    Went to Gresson fished wed. evening and thur. About eleven hrs in all. Caught 10 nice slabs wed. Didnt expect to good day thur .with the cold front. Caught 24 slabs thurs. The wind was bad both days. The wife and I had a blast. Got pics but dont know how to post them
