if you catch and keep a bunch of smalls, sooner or later the remaining ones get bigger cause they have more to eat. send me a private message and help me get on that pond and i will help you and the owner get some bigger crappie and bass down the road. i got me a daughter as well, and there is nothing better than getting her and the grandson on a mess.
