    Default Lake Greeson 10-22 & 10-23-16

Cousin Randy and I fished Greeson this weekend and caught some good uns in 20 fow. Most caught on Crappie Magnet Tennessee Shad and Bulldogs. Cleaned 31 Saturday and 28 today.

Oh and next time you go swimming there, know that there's something down there around 20 feet deep with teeth! That's a pound and a half crappie with a chewed up tail.

Look like a fun time. Good thing I don't swim where we fish.

I've seen them like that before too. Gar I guess. Maybe a big walleye. I don't know what else has teeth like that.

Those are some nice specs. I caught a crappie last Friday and his tail was cut up, just like the one in the picture. I thought it was either a gar or a big striper that got him. 365 degree grease will disinfect a lot of wounds.

Good looking specks. That fish was luck to get away from whatever was chomping on him. A little stream I fish for smallmouth in the ozarks has become full of otters this year. I've seen a lot of chewed up fish up there this year. It definitely shuts the fishing down when one or two of them starts cruising the pool your fishing in.
