    Default Post Memorial Day Smackdown

Got a chance to fish again Tuesday mostly by myself. Started a little after 8 and the bite was a little slow. At times when the water would almost glass over the bite would all but stop. It was very overcast, but apart from that, the weather was nice. The water was very stained so I went with glow color cranks first but didn't have but one and lost that one after catching 2 or 3 on it. Switched over to very bright chartreuse, and hot pink, and that seemed to work, but didn't have but 3 of those so I added my favorite, black and bubble gum (I've got to do some bait restocking). Had to slow it down a little to 1.25 mph. I only fished 4 poles since I was by myself and fishing heavy cover. When the sun started coming out the bite picked up immensely and by early afternoon I was near my limit. So my son in law caught up with me and we finished up with 46. Here's a few of them.Name: IMG_20150528_063341.jpg

Way to go Bobby. Good catch.
