Great idea.
We are blessed that we have the many women and me who have fought for our country. There sacrifice enables you and me to do what we do. Many of these individuals are left battered mentally and or physically. After pondering on how I can show gratitude for there sacrifice I came up with the idea to offer a guided fishing trip for one or more people. Would any one else be willing to give a trip with me. If there are other people that would offer a trip, I thought we could all fish the same body of water but in different boats. I am just wanting to see what interest there might be from folks. You don't have to respond publicly if you don't want to. Also, besides bringing a boat there would be opportunities for other people to help in other ways. Also if anyone knows of a wounded vet and would like to nominate them please feel free to do so.
Mull it over and see what everyone thinks.
I am in the process of contacting the wounded warrior association to find out additional information.
Great idea.

I am fortunate to get to do a guided duck hunt here in ga for the wounded warrior project an it is a blessing to give back to the men & women that gave of there selves willingly. So more power to you bowhunter hope you get the participation necessary.

Something similar was done by bass anglers on the Big D this past summer. Great idea.

Ok awesome so i know it is possible in arkansas then. I am waiting to hear back from the wwa, i am contacting them this upcoming week.
Me guiding someone would be a disaster.....but I will contribute $ or help fix lunch after....or whatever someone can think of......great idea JW.
I would be interested in helping out. As a veteran myself, there are too many times that our services go unrecognized, especially those who are wounded during this service. It may be a neat idea to combine this with crappie camp?

I kinda had the same idea Dennis but didn't want to step on toes. Depends on how many we can fish, but there is always need for man power to help disabled folks too. Thanks so much for the input and willingness to help. I am still trying to gather information. Didn't know you was a vet either. Thanks for your past service too.
Count me in. If need be I can bring my pontoon.
