    Default Crappie week down southeast

A few pics from last week. Little late getting posted but came straight back and started turkey hunting.

Started off fishing Chicot, was slow on the south end. I hope every year it's going to bounce back, but to many other places in the area to fish that's better. Hit Grand Lake and Kate Adams and checked out Lake Washington. Done the best at Grand, Kate Adams looked good but the river was starting to get in there. Fished with single pole and jigs.

Weather turned crappy the last 2 days there.

Also took a pic of a snake trying to swallow a crappie but it didn't come out to good. He tried hard but I don't think he ever got it down. His head is right by the log.

We are going down this weekend for a 4 day weekend.
Did you go to Connerly or the gravel pit?
Looks like hitting Grand is a good idea.

Man them some great old lakes. But I have heard the fishing is not to good in Chicot like it was when I was a kid 40+ year ago. Grand and Kate adams should be hot this time of year
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.
